With telehealth, you can consult with a board-certified dermatologist virtually, receive personalized recommendations, and even have prescriptions sent to your local pharmacy. What is Telehealth?

Telehealth allows Dr. Obayan to see patients virtually. Through a secure video conversation, you can still receive a full appointment and consultation while maintaining social distancing guidelines. New and existing patients can book both medical and cosmetic virtual appointments.

What conditions do you treat with Teledermatology?

We can treat the following conditions via our telehealth visit:

-Acne

-Melasma

-Dark spots

-Rashes

-Rosacea

-Psoriasis

– Eczema

– Cosmetic consultation

– Medication refills

Our Virtual visits are meant to assist patients who need assistance right away. If a prescription is needed we can order the script for you directly to the pharmacy.

Step 1 – Schedule Your Telehealth Appointment Today

In order to schedule your appointment, you can call us at (512) 312-7552, or you can book it online by clicking here.

If you are booking online, select your appointment type and patient type. We offer telehealth cosmetic and medical appointments for both new and existing patients. You must enter basic contact information to book an appointment, regardless of appointment or patient type.

Step 2 – Provide us With Your Information

New patients must provide insurance (front and back of card), driver’s license and financial information before your appointment can be officially confirmed. Once your appointment has been booked, our office will reach out shortly after. 

Appointments scheduled online cannot be canceled online; if you want to change a confirmed appointment, please call us at (512) 312-7552.

Step 3 – Sign required consent forms

Once you have been scheduled, you will need to sign a few consent forms before your visit. You will receive an email link to Sadio, our online portal, login in order to sign the forms. Once an appointment date and time have been reserved, our office will contact you to collect any required information you have not provided yet. All patients must provide contact, insurance, financial information, and signed consent forms before an appointment can begin.

Once you receive a confirmatory call from our office, your appointment is confirmed.

Q1: What if medication is needed after the virtual visit?

All medication prescriptions will be sent to your pharmacy after the visit.

Q2: How Much does a Telehealth Appointment Cost?

Most insurance plans are covering telehealth visits. If you don’t have insurance, we charge a low flat fee.

Q3: Is There a Fee to Cancel an Appointment?

If the appointment is canceled with at least 24 hours notice, there is no charge. If the appointment is canceled within 24 hours.

Q4: Does my insurance cover the telehealth visit?

Most virtual visits are covered by insurance. Please contact our office to determine if your insurance will cover telehealth visits.

Q5: Can I have a Telehealth visit even as a new patient?

Yes! When you book an appointment online, simply select the Virtual Appointment – New Patient option for both medical and cosmetic appointments.

Q6: What is the benefit of using Telehealth over a physical visit?

Using Telehealth appointments over physical visits helps protect patients and providers from the COVID-19 virus. Telehealth appointments allow us to still serve patients while maintaining social distancing. You, as a patient, can still be seen from the comfort and safety of your own home while we all do our part to flatten the curve and reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Q7: Which Types of Devices Can I Use for My Appointment?

You can use your PC, MAC computer, or your phone with video capabilities.
